Control & Instrumentation Engineer - (Cheshire) – long-term site-based contract
£45-50 per hour (experience dependent & contracting outside IR35) + average 40-45hr working week + min 12mth contract (ongoing) + overtime rates.
Control & Instrumentation Engineer responsibilities include:
* Site-based, testing, evaluating, modifying & calibrating products and instruments.
* Working on waste-energy / renewables live, mega-scale construction site / project.
* Producing, implementing and configuring designs & creating test procedures.
* Analysing & interpreting data.
* Writing reports and documentation.
* Collaborating with the team on site & providing technical support.
* Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary.
Control & Instrumentation Engineer profile;
* HNC / Degree or similar in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering / active CSCS card.
* Minimum 10yrs electrical control and instrumentation Engineering experience.
* Experience working on large scale construction sites ideally in Oil & Gas, Renewables, Waste to Energy, Nuclear or similar.
* C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate and fully conversant with 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations; BS7671:2018
* Current UK driving license.
* Proven technical knowledge and understanding.
* Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
