This role is based in London. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Managing assets independently within investment policy guidelines to achieve investment objectives. Supervising a small team Implementing investment strategies consistent with client financial goals and risk tolerance and in accordance with the investment policies/philosophies and procedures and applicable regulations. Working with research, strategy team members and other members of the portfolio teams. Meeting with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance and current market conditions. Independently implementing investment strategies for more complex funds/strategies consistent with client financial goals and risk tolerance and in accordance with the investment policies/philosophies and procedures and applicable regulations. Evaluating the performance of investments and make timely changes to a portfolio to meet investment objectives or allocation guidelines. Analyzing and determine clients appropriate level of risk based on time, preferences, expectations, and market conditions. Contributing to the team/firm profitability by assuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships by contributing to superior investment performance and client services. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred Demonstrable investment experience Leadership experience is desired CFA or MBA required Experience in fixed income, equities and ETFs is desired At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
