We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking professionals to join our teams based in North or Central Aberdeenshire. The role will be pivotal in supporting the early discharge of patients from hospital, and enabling safe and effective rehab and enablement at home.

As part of this you will:

1. Provide a priority response to facilitate timely hospital discharge.
2. Provide a priority response for patients referred to our virtual community wards, enabling them to remain at home wherever possible.
3. Work within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency framework to ensure seamless care in the community.
4. Manage a diverse caseload with a wide range of conditions and complex needs.
5. Supervise and allocate work to OT support staff and contribute to student training.
6. Play an active role in service development within your locality and the wider Health & Social Care Partnership.

We are looking for therapists who bring:

7. Strong clinical experience across a variety of conditions.
8. Excellent communication, organisational, and caseload management skills.
9. A passion for rehabilitation and community-based care.
10. A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.

We offer:

11. Regular supervision and peer support.
12. Opportunities for CPD and career development aligned with the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).
13. A chance to be part of a progressive and supportive team making a real difference in people’s lives.

If you’re ready to be part of our team in Aberdeenshire, we’d love to hear from you.

A full clean UK driving licence and a car available for business use is essential.

Potential candidates are encouraged to visit the department to learn more about the role before applying.

'There will be an expectation to provide services over 7 days, including weekends, public holidays and extended hours, where required, to meet the need of services'
