Key Responsibilities: * Manage the running of a safe and busy depot environment as the senior escalation point on nights * Ensure best in practice processes are followed across the operation with a focus on safety and efficiency * Report and investigate incidents within the operation and find solutions proactively * Manage drivers and depot function across a busy transport operation Skills Needed for the role: * A background in operational transport management with a transport management CPC necessary * Experience within commercial transport is advantageous * Knowledge of transport compliance is essential * An understanding of operational profitability would be an advantage
