Senior Electrical Engineer at Mott MacDonald Bentley
Join us as a Senior Electrical Engineer on our Yorkshire Water framework. You will contribute to projects that significantly impact our environment and communities by shaping electrical functions throughout the lifecycle of water and wastewater treatment projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Preparing and reviewing electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment, including Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs, and SCADA.
* Producing and reviewing technical specifications and schedules for procurement activities, and reviewing supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
* Supervising and mentoring graduates and engineers to develop their knowledge and skills.
* Applying and contributing to design standards with knowledge of Client and WIMES standards.
* Building positive relationships with the client and supporting them to achieve project aims.
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Chartered or incorporated member of a professional institution (e.g., ICE, IMechE) or equivalent experience.
* Experience delivering high‑quality outputs in accordance with design, quality and safety standards.
* Water industry experience.
* A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the operational region.
