SEND Teaching Assistant - Fantastic 3 Form Entry Primary School - Romford Working Hours & Pay Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm £95-£100 per day dependant on experience We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND teaching assistant to join an amazing 3 form entry primary school in Romford. This full-time role is ideal for an adaptable and enthusiastic SEND teaching assistant who is confident supporting pupils across all key stages from EYFS through to Year 6. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children with a range of complex needs and helping them to access learning in a positive and nurturing environment. Located in Romford, this thriving primary school is passionate about providing outstanding support for pupils and promoting excellence in education and training for all learners. The Role Responsibilities for the SEND teaching assistant role will include: Supporting pupils with complex needs including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia Providing one-to-one and small group support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and engagement in lessons Supporting teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning Encouraging pupil independence, confidence, and social development Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Contributing to high standards of education and training across the school Requirements The successful candidate will: Have experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting Be patient, adaptable, and proactive Hold a DBS on the Update Service Be safeguarding trained Have excellent communication and teamwork skills Be passionate about supporting children and committed to education and training If you do not currently hold a DBS on the Update Service or require safeguarding training, our agency can arrange a DBS application for you and provide free safeguarding training.
