Programme Manager - Fixed-term Until October 2027 Salary: 47,389 - 56,535 Annual Leave: 41 Days Pension: Generous USS Pension Scheme Location: Scotland (With flexible hybrid working available) Flexible Working: Options such as 9 day Fortnight and other Flexible hours available (subject to line management approval) The University of Aberdeen is undertaking a major transformation programme to modernise its Student Management System (SMS), with the goal of simplifying processes, adopting modern technologies, and enhancing the student experience. To support this multi-year initiative, the university is recruiting a Programme Manager and a Business Systems Analyst to help deliver a comprehensive new system. These roles are initially fixed-term until mid-October 2027, with the intention to extend subject to approval. This role is looking for an experienced Project / Programme Manager with a strong background in delivering complex projects and business change initiatives, ideally within Higher Education. Key requirements include: Degree-level education or equivalent experience Qualifications/experience in PRINCE2 and ITIL Foundation Significant experience managing projects and programmes using formal methodologies Strong planning, dependency management, and delivery skills Experience using project tools including Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business change Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation and people-management skills Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences Desirable experience includes: Programme management qualifications such as MSP Higher Education sector experience Knowledge of student management systems Experience with procurement, vendor management and contract lifecycle management Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
