Primary School Tutor – Oxfordshire Hourly Rate: £25 – £30 Days: Monday to Friday (flexible hours) Location: In schools, community settings, or students’ homes across Oxfordshire Are you passionate about supporting young learners at the most critical stage of their education? We’re looking for a caring, skilled, and experienced Primary School Tutor to deliver personalised one-to-one support in English, Maths, and early Science. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping children grow in confidence, develop strong foundations, and overcome learning barriers – particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). What You'll Do: Deliver engaging, one-to-one tuition in core subjects tailored to each child’s age and stage Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including communication difficulties, dyslexia, ADHD, or autism Develop fun, structured lesson plans that suit individual learning styles Create a safe, positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated Regularly assess progress and share clear, encouraging feedback with parents and caregivers Help children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning What We’re Looking For: Minimum 2 years' experience in primary teaching or tutoring A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to working with young children Experience with SEN and differentiated learning strategies Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude Why This Role?
