As Vetting Researcher, you will process information about Vetting and Disclosure issues, cross‑reference data to ensure records are updated and accurate, and provide advice and assistance to members across the Force. This is a fixed‑term contract until 31/03/2026 and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience with the Vetting and Disclosure team.
What You’ll Be Doing
 * Receive and validate requests from authorized agencies to create and update records held on the Police National Computer system
 * Provide offender history to authorized agencies
 * Cross‑reference correspondence with records to update and amend accurately
Must Haves
 * Educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language, or have experience working to that standard
 * Experience in a clerical/administrative role where attention to detail and accuracy was essential
 * Good working knowledge of IT software including Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to operate a keyboard at a speed of 25 wpm
