Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford), Exeter, EX2 5DW

Trust: Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Contract: 3–6 months rolling, possible extension

Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm (37.5 hrs/week), onsite

Pay Rate: £16.53/hr + holiday pay

Role Summary:

Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices to NHS staff. Work with the Service Desk to resolve issues, perform hardware/software upgrades, and support the My Care project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
* Install, upgrade, and replace IT equipment with minimal disruption
* Schedule support visits with users
* Coordinate with IT contractors and ensure compliance

Required Skills:

* Minimum 2 years' experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Office 365 in a live environment.
* Practical experience with SCCM for software deployment and device management.
