At the King Edmund School, we are in a bold new chapter. With our new school building that opened in September 2025, an aspirational student body, and a new Headteacher at the helm, we are seeking to appoint a full‑time Teacher of IT/Computer Science from 01 September 2026.

The Role
We're looking for an exceptional Teacher of IT/Computer Science to join our thriving team at The King Edmund School. What We’re Looking For
* A degree, or equivalent experience, with a teaching qualification
* Deliver dynamic, engaging IT/Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5, if applicable)
* The ability to work in collaboration with other members of staff to further the department
* Play a key role in developing our IT/Computer Science curriculum and extra‑curricular activities
* Exceptional personal organisation and time management skills
* A firm understanding of key national and educational policies and issues
* The ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgrounds
* A clear commitment to improving your own and others’ performance through effective continuous professional development
