Job Role: The MIB is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to combating uninsured driving. We aim to protect victims from the consequences of uninsured and hit-and-run drivers by working with police, insurers, and government agencies. Last year, we assisted over 42,000 individuals affected by these issues. The Communications and Campaigns Coordinator will manage internal and external communications across various channels, including social media, web, print, and media relations.

* Collaborate with the communications team and stakeholders to deliver engaging content and campaigns.
* Support campaign planning, execution, and evaluation, working with content creators and external agencies.
* Create and manage social media content to engage audiences and support campaign goals.
* Manage the intranet using SharePoint CMS, creating and updating pages.
* Assist in storytelling initiatives featuring victims of uninsured and hit-and-run incidents.
* Maintain and update content on MIB’s website, ensuring accuracy and engagement.
* Provide copywriting support for various communications and campaigns.
* Handle press office duties, including responding to media inquiries, writing press releases, and monitoring coverage.
* Stay informed about industry news and trends affecting MIB’s communications strategies.
* Uphold brand consistency in tone, voice, and style across all communications.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Experience or qualification in communications, marketing, or branding.
* Proficiency with digital channels, including organic and paid content.
* Experience in digital advertising campaigns (social, GDN, PPC).
* Knowledge of press office operations and media management.
* Excellent copywriting and editing skills across media types.
* Stakeholder engagement confidence.
* Analytical skills to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
* Content creation skills that promote interaction and participation.
* SEO knowledge and experience with content management systems and analytics tools.
* Passion for purpose-led brands and storytelling.

Salary and Benefits:

* £35,000 per annum
* Grade 10
* 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday
* IT kit provided
* £320 start-up allowance
* Hybrid working (2 days in-office at Milton Keynes, MK14)
