The role offers a salary up to £30k depending on experience & requires someone to start the role ASAP with interviews taking place right away! The Role As our Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across the business, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and supporting management with reliable financial information. You will oversee the full bookkeeping cycle, including ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end reporting, using Sage accounting software. Key Responsibilities Maintain sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers accurately Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support credit control and monitor outstanding balances Prepare month-end reports and financial summaries for management Maintain accurate records using Sage accounting software Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders Ensure financial records comply with standard accounting practices About You Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or similar finance role Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles Confident user of Sage Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Finance or accounting qualification desirable but not essential
