On Call: Out of hours rota (1 full week in 3, 5pm to 9am, Monday to Sunday)

The Opportunity
Box Bros Funeral Directors - Blackpool are currently looking for a casual Funeral Service Operative. The hours are varied, and there is the opportunity to fit the role in around your other commitments. Calm and professional, our Funeral Operatives play a vital role in our service and are often the first members of the team to meet our families.
A good Funeral Service Operative will be able to provide reassurance to families that we will take good care of their loved ones whilst we prepare them for their final journey.
Responsibilities
* Assist in bringing loved ones into care, and work behind the scenes in the mortuary.
* Fit coffins and dress the deceased; participate in funeral services and pall bearing.
* Ensure smooth execution of funeral arrangements and events.
* Drive company vehicles as part of duties.
* Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours coverage.
Requirements
* Full valid driving licence.
* Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks).
* Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion.
