GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive school environment, helping students with special educational needs thrive academically and personally. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis.
* Assist with the delivery of lessons and adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
* Support pupils’ emotional well-being and behaviour management.
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement effective support strategies.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress where necessary.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
* Understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive education practices.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A calm, patient, and supportive attitude.
* A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
