What you'll do Regulatory Reporting & Process Oversight: Supervise the day-to-day and quarterly production of full, accurate and timely regulatory reports, ensuring internal and external deadlines are met across MiFIR, PTT, EMIR, ASIC, SFTR, MMFR and AIFMD. Directly support data validation and remediation efforts, including the investigation and resolution of errors and exceptions. Oversee daily reconciliations for EMIR cleared OTC reporting and for MiFIR, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Liaise regularly with global counterparts, particularly in Singapore, to ensure alignment of regulatory processes and data governance. Write, review, and maintain process and procedural documentation, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Contribute actively to the production and review of management information and KPIs for senior management, providing analysis and recommendations as needed. Management Support & People Development: Assist the team manager in planning workloads, allocating tasks and resources based on priority and staff availability, and covering for short-term absences or increases in volume. Provide on-the-job coaching and day-to-day guidance to junior analysts, encouraging learning, high standards and professional growth. Support the onboarding and integration of new team members, ensuring they are appropriately trained and embedded in team culture and processes. Assist the manager in conducting regular team catch-ups and support the assessment process for annual appraisals (e.g., providing evidence, feedback and input on performance), but not carrying out appraisals directly. Work with the manager to help set and monitor clear, stretching objectives for the team and individual analysts, ensuring alignment with business goals. Proactively foster a collaborative, professional, and inclusive team environment, acting as a role model for high performance and integrity. Deputise for the manager where required, acting as the escalation point for the team, and representing the team confidently in meetings or with senior stakeholders when the manager is unavailable. Support the manager in driving team engagement initiatives, staff wellbeing, and a positive working environment. Process Development, Efficiency & Stakeholder Management: Work alongside the manager and team to identify, recommend, and help implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and technology enhancements to maximise operational efficiency and mitigate risk. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, empowering yourself and others to challenge the status quo and suggest new ways of working. Support robust issue and error management, ensuring prompt identification, escalation and resolution of control breaches or unexpected challenges. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including Compliance, Operations, Technology and external vendors), representing the manager and team as required. Role Modelling and Culture: Embody process best practice and high regulatory standards across all areas of reporting, time management, prioritisation, collaboration, ownership, and innovative thinking. Be visible and approachable as a role model, supporting the growth, confidence, and knowledge of less experienced team members. The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need Strong experience in regulatory reporting within an Asset Management or financial services context. Solid understanding of operational processes, risk management, and the importance of process controls within asset management. Experience in supporting managers or team leaders, particularly in workload planning, resource allocation, or team coaching. Strong analytical skills, comfortable with root cause analysis and the production of high-quality management information. Advanced facility with Microsoft applications and a genuine interest in applying technology to improve processes. Clear risk awareness and sound judgement in both routine and non-routine situations, escalating professionally as needed. The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help Relevant Asset Management qualifications (e.g. Investment Operations Certificate (IOC), Investment Management Certificate (IMC)). Working experience of regulatory transaction reporting, with an understanding of the associated regulatory regimes and controls. Broader experience in asset management, especially regarding derivatives and the end-to-end investment lifecycle.
