Job Description
3. Temporary Finance Data Analyst role (3-6 months), hybrid working in Twickenham.
4. Support a strategic Data Cube project for Management Information (MI) reporting.
5. Build, validate, and maintain a backlog, revenue, and margins data cube.
6. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems (Xero, Data Rails, Excel).
7. Develop documentation for data structures, processes, and validation checks.
8. Create new reports from the data cube for operational and board requirements.
9. Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
10. Provide adhoc data queries and reporting support to stakeholders.
11. Ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards.
12. Produce outputs such as reconciliations, KPI validation, profitability checks, and cash-flow analysis.
The Successful Applicant
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
14. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
15. Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) and knowledgeable in data modelling concepts.
16. Solid understanding of financial reporting and management information processes.
17. Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
18. Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
19. Desirable: experience with BI projects, ETL processes, and finance systems (e.g., Salesforce, Xero, Data Rails).
