Senior Application Support Analyst

Hybrid (2 days per week in Doncaster)

Dynamics CRM or Salesforce background


About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Applications Analyst to join our Business Applications Team. You’ll play a critical role in enhancing and supporting our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system, (D365) particularly for Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care functions. This hybrid role involves working closely with project teams and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, implement solutions, and provide system support and training.

The kind of individual we are looking for will be someone with a background in Dynamics CRM (or an alternative CRM System, such as Salesforce) that proactively works with the business to make improvements to the system - there's a great opportunity for someone here to make positive improvements that will make a difference to people at all levels in the business.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• Experience of supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Or equivalent, eg Salesforce)

• Strong experience in an application support role

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.

• Proactive, confident, and adaptable.


Key Responsibilities:

Systems and User Support:

• Provide 2nd-line support, ensuring SLA compliance.

• Liaise with third-party providers to resolve system issues.

• Conduct regional visits to deliver application workshops and support.

• Maintain application documentation, monitor performance, and resolve system issues.

Training:

• Collaborate with the Systems Training Manager to ensure up-to-date training materials and e-learning resources.

User Groups & Enhancements:

• Participate in user communities and external groups to share insights and best practices.

• Identify and deliver system improvement opportunities.

Project Support & Implementations:

• Lead systems configuration for allocated projects or changes.

• Manage unit, user acceptance, and regression testing.

• Provide go-live support and post-implementation assistance.

Governance:

• Maintain documentation for functions and audits as required.

• Perform system and license audits.


Desirable

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
