We work with Schools and Local Authorities and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
We are a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people. Our mission is to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND, SEMH, and related needs, through trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Provide support to keep a team around you and the child
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online roles
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
