Head of Key Accounts – Ingram Micro Lifecycle
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially driven leader to join our Lifecycle business unit. This role is pivotal in managing, growing, and retaining key customer accounts across our UK sites in Norwich and Hoddesdon. Operating in a highly competitive and complex services environment, we partner with our customers’ supply chains, delivering solutions that ensure service excellence and drive innovation.
What your role as Head of Key Accounts will involve:
* Leadership & Strategy: Oversee a team of Customer Account Managers, developing a strategic approach to growth and retention across a portfolio of 30+ accounts.
* Customer Advocacy: Act as the key representative for our customers, ensuring their needs are presented internally and managed to successful outcomes.
* Account Growth: Identify opportunities, design innovative solutions, and drive business expansion across new and existing accounts.
* Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing team, instilling an “opportunity spotting” mindset and fostering collaboration across departments.
* Expert Knowledge: Provide solutions for complex, supply-chain services, ensuring innovation and tailored strategies for each client.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with UK Operations, IT, and Business Support teams to ensure accounts have the necessary resources to exceed customer expectations.
* Voice of the Customer: Establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders, gathering market intelligence and driving future growth strategies.
* Operational Excellence: Manage contracts, negotiations, and commercial agreements while maintaining key performance indicators for customer satisfaction and account retention.
To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
* Extensive experience managing key accounts within supply chain services, preferably as a 3PL with mobile network, small appliance, or Pay TV operators.
* Strong leadership skills with a passion for driving team success and mentoring individuals.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities, comfortable engaging with customers and executive teams.
* Proven commercial acumen, with P&L management experience.
* Deep understanding of forward and reverse supply chains, particularly in the Mobile and Pay TV sectors.
* Entrepreneurial approach to identifying new business opportunities and conceptualizing innovative solutions.
* Familiarity with business systems such as ISO14001/2004 and ISO9001:2000.
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed for business engagements.
