Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with Express Engineering, a leading Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East, to support with their search for an experienced New Product Introduction Manager.
Key Duties:
Leading and coordination of new product launch processes and project activities and ensuring planned activities are executed at the right time, achieving quality, performance and cost objectives.
Development of Launch Plans and maintaining phase and concurrent activities, documenting and reporting product launch plan actions and status.
Providing leadership for highly complex manufacturing projects and new product introductions. Providing full project management, internal direction, guidance and expertise to project team members.
Being the recognised customer facing project lead, liaising with the customer's senior strategic sourcing team as well as individual buyers.
Assessment and recommendations for the manufacturing capacity and capability required to meet projected demand. Planning, procuring and establishing the necessary facilities and/ or resources required to consistently deliver product from the launch date.
Assessing the supply chain capacity and capability required to meet overall project schedule, in adherence to business and customer requirements.
Scheduling and facilitating project meetings, tracking the project schedule to ensure adherence to timelines and creating visibility of project delays and associated recovery actions.
Visualising and communicating the scope of the project with regular presentations of project status to the senior leadership team.
Involvement and support of tendering and commercial activity for new product at pre-award stage.Key Requirements:
Have significant experience in manufacturing, product development, or engineering environments.
Have demonstrable experience in a project or program management role, preferably leading cross-functional teams.
Have a proven track record of successfully delivering New Product Introductions from concept through to volume production.
Be experienced in working closely with design engineering, quality, procurement, and operations.
Preferably be from a precision CNC and welding background, with the ability to read engineering drawings.The Package:
£55,000 - £59,000 per annum depending on experience.
Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Friday 7:30AM-1:30PM.
