We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community starting in September 2024. As a full-time position with standard hours from 8.30 to 3.30, Monday to Friday, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives while enjoying the scenic beauty of Harrogate (HG4 area).
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of primary students.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the holistic development of each child.
5. Uphold high standards of professionalism and conduct, serving as a positive role model for students.
6. Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
8. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) are welcome to apply.
9. Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service, or willingness to apply for one, is essential.
10. Team Teach training is desired but not essential, as training can be provided.
