Global Payroll Implementation Assistant ManagerMarket leading salary and benefits packageGlasgowHybrid working (2 days in office)Permanent – FTBrightwork are delighted to be supporting our key client in the recruitment of a Global Payroll Implementation Assistant Manager to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take a leading role in the implementation and transition of new global and international payrolls, ensuring smooth delivery, strong governance, and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions.Role OverviewThe Global Payroll Implementation Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading payroll implementation activities from end-to-end, ensuring all new payrolls are delivered in line with agreed timelines, compliance requirements, and quality standards. The role will play a key part in coordinating stakeholders, managing implementation risks, supporting testing activities, and ensuring successful payroll go-live across multiple countries.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end implementation of new global and international payrolls, ensuring delivery against project plans and timelinesOversee payroll processing during implementation and transition phases, proactively managing risks and resolving issuesSupport day-to-day payroll operations during transition to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are metOwn and maintain client-specific payroll process documentation and implementation guides, ensuring accuracy and consistencyAct as a key point of contact for global payroll partners and in-country providers, ensuring data requirements and local compliance rules are metLead system testing activities, including UAT, parallel runs, and post-implementation validationIdentify process improvements and support the enhancement of payroll delivery frameworksProvide guidance and support to payroll analysts and advisors during implementation phasesMonitor legislative and regulatory payroll changes across relevant jurisdictions and assess impact where requiredMaintain a central knowledge base covering payroll processes across supported countriesAbout YouStrong background in payroll operations, ideally within complex or multi-country environmentsProven experience in payroll implementation, system testing, and/or payroll transitionsStrong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance (UK and/or international exposure desirable)Experience with UAT, test scripting, and payroll parallel runsExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across HR, Finance, IT, and external providersStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProcess-driven with a continuous improvement mindsetWhat's on OfferOpportunity to play a key role in global payroll transformation projectsExposure to international payroll operations and multi-country implementationsCollaborative and supportive working environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageIf you're an experienced payroll professional with implementation and global exposure looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.For further details on this excellent opportunity, please call Ruth Coulter on 077779 858 438 or emailBrightwork offers the services of a recruitment agency for permanent roles and a recruitment business for temporary roles .TPBN1_UKTJ
