This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to take ownership of key processes and grow within a varied finance role. What Youll Do: Manage purchase ledger, including month-end supplier reconciliations Process invoices, payments, subcontractor payments, CIS returns and statements Support weekly payroll processing on Sage Payroll Oversee and support a junior Accounts Assistant Provide occasional office admin support and ad hoc finance tasks What Were Looking For: Strong purchase ledger experience Payroll knowledge (ideally Sage Payroll) Good all-round accounts understanding (P&L, journals, balance sheet) Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail Proactive team player with good communication skills Desirable: Knowledge of CIS and subcontractor payments Experience in the construction sector Familiarity with Netsuite Studying or completed accounting exams (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or QBE) For more information on this opportunity or to take the next step in your finance career, contact Garry Thomson at HireIQ in complete confidence.
