Job Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a passionate team dedicated to improving Council services through the design and delivery of effective learning and development initiatives. As Learning and Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the Council’s learning strategy, ensuring that training programmes are innovative, inclusive, and aligned with service needs. You will be responsible for developing accessible e-learning resources for all staff, while also leading the delivery of a dynamic Leadership Development Programme that supports a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and ambition.
We are looking for an accomplished leader with a strong track record in managing people, projects, and budgets. You will operate at both strategic and operational levels, embedding best practices across the organisation and ensuring that learning and development contributes meaningfully to the Council’s wider goals.
