Overview
As a Team Leader at Langdon House Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering making moments for our residents and delivering high quality care. As a Team Leader, you\'ll play a key part with care delivery in the home. Our Team Leader supports us to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home. To be central to our care, providing leadership and direction to the care team whilst on duty. Assist, motivate and inspire passion into our care team to deliver exceptional outcomes in care. Manage supervision, appraisal and performance management of our care team, celebrating every individual and helping our team to achieve their potential. To carry out enhanced clinical care duties; clinical observations of blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, temperature and blood oxygenation level and monitor urine output.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction to the care team on duty to deliver high-quality care.
* Supervise, appraise and manage performance of care team members.
* Motivate and inspire the care team to achieve exceptional outcomes in care.
* Carry out enhanced clinical care duties including clinical observations (blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, temperature, SpO2) and monitor urine output.
Qualifications & Experience
* A passion for care and a genuinely caring attitude.
* Experience in a similar senior care position.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Effective communication skills.
* Proven track record in leading, empowering, supporting and motivating a team.
What we can offer
* £15.30 per hour.
* Shift pattern: 0-hour contract with up to full-time hours on 12-hour shifts, plus handover time, on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday. Competitive salary, plus enhancements on bank holidays.
