Roofing Estimator Location: Loughton Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 Package Employment Type: Permanent Role Summary An established specialist contractor within the roofing and façade sector is looking to recruit an experienced Roofing Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. The company delivers specialist roofing, cladding and façade packages across a range of commercial projects throughout the UK. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed tenders for Tier 1 contractors and major construction clients Produce accurate take-offs and scope mark-ups using Bluebeam software Calculate labour, material and preliminary costs using estimating spreadsheets Populate bills of quantities and pricing schedules Review specifications, drawings and tender documentation Offer value engineering solutions where appropriate Attend client meetings and maintain strong client/supplier relationships Assist with handovers for secured projects Requirements Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator Strong knowledge of multiple roofing systems, particularly flat roofing Experience working on commercial construction projects Good understanding of roofing materials and installation methods Proficient with Bluebeam, Excel, Word and Outlook Strong communication and organisational skills Package £65,000 - £75,000 salary depending on experience Great benefits package Bonus incentives Training and career progression opportunities Flexible working available for the right candidate Friendly and supportive working environment
