Consultant in Public Health/ Public Health Medicine
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Consultant (s) in Public Health to join the Aneurin Bevan Gwent Public Health Team. The Team forms part of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, covering Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen, and working under the leadership of the Executive Director of Public Health and Strategic Partnerships.

Responsibilities
* Lead a broad portfolio with strategic oversight and drive impactful change on public health priorities.
* Provide compassionate, dynamic leadership to the multidisciplinary team and support delivery of high-quality public health services with communities.
* Communicate with clarity at senior leadership level within the Health Board, with local partners, and with Public Health Wales and the NHS in Wales.
* Develop and implement work plans in collaboration with the Executive Director of Public Health and Strategic Partnerships, based on the Job Description.

Applicants must be on the GMC/GDC Specialist Register/UK Public Health Register for Public Health Specialists. Candidates for Consultant posts must also be on the GMC Specialist Register (including via CESR/European Community Rights) or have a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview.
