We are partnering with a growing consumer‑focused business investing heavily in its digital and eCommerce capability.
They are looking to hire a Web Developer to support the development, optimisation, and ongoing evolution of their D2C platform.
The Role
You will play a key role in building and maintaining a high‑performing eCommerce website, working within a collaborative product and engineering team.
This role combines feature development, platform optimisation, and integration work, with a strong focus on delivering a seamless and commercially effective user experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Building and enhancing website functionality within an enterprise eCommerce platform
* Turning product and design requirements into working, scalable features
* Improving site performance, accessibility, and overall user experience
* Maintaining and refining existing code to ensure reliability and efficiency
* Connecting the platform with third‑party systems such as payments, CRM, and subscription tools
* Diagnosing and resolving issues across the site
* Contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and testing processes
* Supporting both day‑to‑day updates and longer‑term feature development
* Working as part of a collaborative team to continuously improve delivery
What They’re Looking For
* Experience developing websites within an eCommerce environment
* Experience with frameworks such as React or Vue
* Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar platforms
* Understanding of how systems connect via APIs and integrations
* Attention to detail and a focus on clean, maintainable code
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
* Exposure to subscription‑based platforms or similar business models
* Experience working with performance or experimentation tools
* Interest in using automation or AI to streamline development tasks
