About the team
Our Litigation Support team is focused on effective legal delivery, collaborating with our Lines of Service to provide litigation and/or pre-litigation based services for clients, primarily in the following spaces: a. Corporate/legal investigations (i.e professional employee misconduct, whistleblowing, social media complaints) on behalf of prominent global clients b. Assisting and/or providing managed review services in relation to legal proceedings (i.e document review, evidence presentation) in sync with our internal advisory teams (i.e in-house legal, eDiscovery/Forensics)
Skills and Experience
1. Previous experience as a reviewer, lead reviewer/team lead on document review engagement
2. Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
3. Relativity experience
4. Able to manage resourcing for projects
5. Experience creating query/privilege log for reviewed documents each day
6. Articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Confident interacting with people of different professional backgrounds
8. Law degree preferable
About the Role
We are looking for a Legal Review Senior Associate with experience guiding teams of paralegals, lawyers and/or other compliance/regulatory professionals through the document review process. You will draw upon your experience of both your expertise and your ability to use document review platforms. The successful candidate will be the person who manages various internal relationships that are interrelated with the review such as your team of reviewers, internal stakeholders and be the liaison between either our in-house or external Forensics/eDisclosure teams, in order to achieve the best results possible for our clients.
Responsibilities:
9. Manage the allocation of document review team members, alongside our internal resourcing stakeholders, with consideration of associated costs
10. Build an effective talent pool for deployment across a diverse range of document reviews
11. Liaison between either our in-house or external Forensics/eDisclosure teams, in order to achieve the best results possible for our clients
12. Monitor costs per review and identify trends with regards to project spend for report purposes, and a focus on completing projects within scope
13. Leverage experience and ability to use document review platforms to provide up-to-date metrics on projects (e.g reports, dashboards)
14. Address queries and potential challenges in relation to team member availability
15. Check-in with team members, positioning yourself as an outlet for support, addressing any potential challenges for effective delivery output
16. Provide project specific training on use of document review platforms to team members
17. Create and/or contribute to literature in relation to project training and processes where necessary
18. Effective management of all aspects of workload, identifying escalation points where necessary
19. Assess current delivery practices and suggest pragmatic alternative solutions with appropriate stakeholders where necessary
