This is a permanent post working 18.5 hours per week; working pattern to be negotiated with successful candidate.

The role is to work as part of a team to assist with medical and surgical Endoscopy services within Inverclyde Royal Hospital. To be responsible for the receipt and management of all referrals, liaising with medical and nursing staff and at all times, adhering to GG&C waiting list policy. The post holder will liaise with clinicians to plan management for patients, arrange admissions, ensure the inpatient list is up to date and ready for theatre. You will also be required to deal with telephone enquiries from internal/external agencies, liaising with ward staff to ensure all relevant information is provided for patients be admitted from ward.
