* We are looking for someone enthusiastic about software engineering and the development of physical models of the real world and how an Electro-Optical (EO) Sensor perceives it. You will need the following skills:
* Proficiency in Windows and Linux native software (C/C++) and dynamic languages like Python.
* Experience with GPU acceleration and 3D graphics (Open GL, GLSL, CUDA, Vulkan).
* A strong software background, including software architecture design, concurrency, synchronization, and database design.
* An appreciation for or the desire to learn the physics of EM radiation propagation, coherent phenomena, and thermal analysis, along with the supporting tools.
* Familiarity with lean/agile methods and software development tools such as version control, task management, and continuous integration.
* In addition to these technical skills, we value:

Responsibilities:
* As a Scene Generation Modelling Engineer in our Electro-Optical Seekers & Sensors Department, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for developing real-world simulations and modelling tools. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the EO scene generation capability at MBDA, delivering modelling and simulation of the environment observed by EO sensors.
* Engaging in high-volume simulation of weapon systems, missiles, and sub-systems, essential for MBDA’s complex weapon programs.
* Collaborating with customers and suppliers towards the next generation of EO and multi-sensor missile seekers.
* Utilizing a variety of software development and modelling tools, while receiving hands-on training to ensure your swift integration into the team.
* Contributing to the evolution of our toolset to cater to future program needs, delivering current projects, and shaping the team's direction.
