Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead and grow a team of New Business Account Managers. With full autonomy to shape strategy and execution, you will play a pivotal role in winning and retaining clients, with a strong emphasis on professional and managed services. This is a hybrid role, based in the Reading office three days per week, with flexibility for remote working.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and inspire a team of New Business Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Own and drive new business strategy, focusing on acquisition and long-term client retention.
* Coach and support team members through the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close.
* Ensure alignment with Ultima’s service offerings, especially around professional and managed services.
* Manage a headcount budget to grow the team, including hiring and onboarding new sales talent.
* Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless customer experiences.
* Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy.
* Foster a high-performance, accountable, and results-driven culture.

What We’re Looking For

* Demonstrated success in winning new business in a B2B environment—this is non-negotiable.
* Experience leading a sales team, ideally in the technology or IT sector .
* Strong knowledge of solution selling and a solid understanding of professional and managed services.
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic mindset with strong execution and commercial acumen.
* Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
