Hours: 31.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term until June, sessional
Salary: Grade 3 Points 11 to 18
£27, to £31, per annum pro rata
(salary subject to pending job evaluation)
West Lothian College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly Care Assistant who will meet the personal care and learning needs of students attending college, including assisting and supervising identified groups of students who have additional support requirements.
You should have experience of working with young people who have additional support needs, be self-motivated, empathetic and committed to supporting others. A clean driving licence would be desirable. Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage and the value of supporting others to make their own life choices recognised.
The post holder should be educated to SCQF Level 7. While no specific qualifications are required for the post, you should possess a good general standard of education.
