Responsibilities
* Provide interventions under the guidance of a registered Speech and Language Therapist.
* Give feedback on client progress and attend meetings with the therapy team.
* Advocate for clients and their families alongside the treating therapist.
* Support indirect actions of the Speech and Language Therapist, including creating programmes, assisting with scheduling, developing resources, and collaborating on service improvement projects.
* Deliver clinic‑based sessions in an outpatient setting and support SEND school‑based work, contributing to the therapy team’s clinical delivery and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant area.
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience working with children.
* Effective communication and professional skills.
* Previous experience in a similar role or working in schools with students who have speech, language and communication needs.
Desirable Qualifications
* Previous experience working within health‑care settings.
* Experience working with children with additional needs.
* People‑management experience.
