Rate: * PAYE: £13.90 per hour Contract Duration: ASAP – 27 February 2026 - the right candidate may become permanent Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initial training in-office; thereafter 2–3 days per week in office) Job Description The role is to provide general administrative support to social work professionals, enabling them to focus on their core responsibilities of supporting children, young people, and families. Key Responsibilities * Provide full administrative and financial support to the service. * Track and maintain key information and performance data, ensuring data quality and accuracy. * Support social workers with diary management, arranging venues, and coordinating meetings. * Act as a key point of contact for all incoming enquiries, building relationships with young people, carers, families, and professionals, handling matters with sensitivity and discretion. * Effectively use IT equipment and systems, including electronic client record systems, ensuring all data is entered accurately. * Manage incoming correspondence in line with corporate standards. * Take accurate minutes at large or complex meetings, transcribe and circulate within agreed timescales. * Maintain extensive filing and record-keeping systems, prepare legal files, photocopy confidential materials, and assist in the preparation of case records in line with Access to Records Policy. * Provide supervision and training to other colleagues as appropriate. * Undertake any other duties relevant to achieving the objectives of the post or Directorate, commensurate with grade and ability. Essential Experience * Significant experience in office administration. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent). * Experience in creating and maintaining information management systems for performance and data analysis. * Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. * Experience in minute taking (some required for this role, though not the main responsibility). * Experience in data management and data quality improvement. Additional Information * Current focus of the role is data management and system improvement. * Each team comprises around 10 staff members across three teams. * The Business Support Team consists of 6 members. * Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams when the manager’s availability permits
