Are you a primary school teacher looking for long and short-term teaching cover work in the Merseyside area? Do you want to work with the market-leading education agency that works with over 200 primary schools across the Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley and Wirral areas? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Hays Education is the only agency with over nine dedicated consultants servicing the all these areas, due to the consistently high demand for cover teachers from our schools. Many of our schools work with us through dedicated partnership and exclusivity agreements. You can be assured of our personal attention and expertise at all times, and regular work that meets your needs and availability.
Your new role
* Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school cultures
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively
* Support pupils' academic and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
* Provide feedback and complete basic marking where required
* Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A love for teaching and inspiring young learners
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
* Adaptability and a positive attitude
