Fleet Compliance Assistant

About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fleet Compliance Assistant to join our clients team. This role focuses on ensuring legal compliance across road transport operations, working closely with Fleet Operations Managers to adhere to EU regulations (3820/85) and the Working Time Directive 2005.
You will play a key role in maintaining service schedules, managing vehicle and driver availability, and fostering strong relationships with service agents. The position requires proactive communication with multiple departments, including senior management, to provide updates and resolve compliance-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company policies.
Manage fleet compliance tasks using R2C software.
Monitor driver pre/post vehicle checks (VOR) and service compliance.
Maintain up-to-date maintenance plans, including MOTs, inspections, and brake tests.
Coordinate fleet servicing and repairs in collaboration with fleet planners.
Update the In-House Resource Plan with truck services, repairs, and driver information.
Conduct Driver Licence & DQC checks, manage Working Time Directive compliance.
Track infringements, missing mileage, and driver card renewals.
Organise PPE stock, uniforms, and parking setups (e.g., SNAP).
Assist with incentive bonus calculations and driver rotas (including holidays/weekends). Who We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a Transport/Logistics admin role (preferred).
Knowledge of compliance legislation (training provided).
Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and telephone).
