About Us
We're a growing property investment company with a thriving portfolio of 43 buy-to-let properties across Rotherham. We're looking for a proactive and organised Property & Facilities Manager to join our team. If you're passionate about property management, compliance, and delivering excellent tenant service, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Tenant & Property Management
* Be the main point of contact for tenants, handling queries and maintenance requests
* Coordinate repairs with contractors and manage the maintenance team
* Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with landlord insurance requirements
* Prepare tenancy agreements, notices, and manage tenant onboarding
* Market vacant properties and manage tenant referencing
* Oversee utility management and invoice accuracy
* Handle tenant arrears and payment plans
* Stay up to date with property legislation and implement necessary changes
Facilities Management
* Manage maintenance tasks at Norton House, including ordering materials
* Perform health & safety checks (e.g. fire alarms, emergency lighting)
* Organise annual assessments and ensure compliance actions are completed
* Oversee servicing of building systems (fire alarms, lifts, security)
* Support first aid and fire marshal training
Legal & Administrative Duties
* Maintain accurate records of tenancy and compliance documentation
* Ensure properties meet health & safety standards (fire, gas, electrical)
* Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures
* Stay informed on UK residency and visa eligibility regulations
What We're Looking For
* Experience in property management, ideally in the buy-to-let sector
* Strong knowledge of tenancy laws and health & safety regulations
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties
* Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
* Relevant qualifications in property or health & safety (preferred but not essential)
