Daily Maternity Nurse - Knightsbridge Location: Knightsbridge, Central London Schedule: 6 days 12 hours Start: September 2026 Children: Newborn Salary: £25 per hour A private family based in Knightsbridge is seeking an exceptional Daily Maternity Nurse to provide the highest standard of care for their newborn. This is a premium role suited to an experienced, calm, and discreet professional who is confident supporting families in a luxury private household environment. This is a 6-month or one-year contract. Responsibilities Providing expert newborn care, including feeding, bathing, sleep routines, and settling techniques Supporting the mother’s postnatal recovery with knowledgeable, reassuring guidance Establishing and maintaining healthy routines tailored to the family’s preferences Monitoring the baby’s development and wellbeing, escalating concerns when appropriate Advising on feeding (breast, bottle, or combination) and sterilisation best practices Maintaining immaculate standards of hygiene and organisation relating to the baby Working collaboratively with parents and other household staff Offering emotional support and education to parents as required Travelling with the family when required, ensuring continuity of exceptional care in different locations Safely transporting the baby when needed; a confident driver is preferred Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maternity Nurse in private households Relevant qualifications (Maternity Nurse Training, Midwifery, or equivalent) Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Paediatric First Aid certification Excellent, checkable references Professional, discreet, and well-presented at all times Confident working with high-profile or UHNW families Comfortable travelling domestically and internationally with the family Confident driver preferred Fluent English; any additional languages, such as Mandarin, French, or Russian, will be a significant advantage The Ideal Candidate You will be warm, nurturing, and highly intuitive, with the confidence to lead while respecting parental preferences.
