The Role
As PA to the Headteacher, you will act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring that the Head’s time is managed effectively and that key operational matters are coordinated seamlessly. Responsibilities include:
• Managing the Headteacher’s diary, scheduling meetings and appointments
• Acting as gatekeeper for communications and correspondence
• Drafting and proofreading letters, reports and presentations
• Coordinating Governors’ meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
• Supporting HR documentation and senior leadership recruitment processes
• Organising school events, including open days and parent briefings
• Maintaining confidential records and safeguarding documentation
• Liaising with parents, staff and external partners with professionalism
