Planning Officer (Development Management) Core Responsibilities - Application Assessment: Process, evaluate, and make recommendations on planning applications, listed building consents, householder planning applications, prior approvals and lawful development certificates. Negotiation & Site Visits: Conduct site visits and negotiate with developers to amend plans (where appropriate), ensuring high quality design and adherence to regulations. Pre-application Advice: Provide professional advice to residents, agents, and developers regarding the feasibility of proposals.
