Operations Manager
Location: Newbury | Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE | Hours: Mon-Fri, Alt. Saturdays
Benefits: No shift work, On-site parking, Pension
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic operations across all sites
Full accountability for operational, financial, safety & environmental performance
Manage senior site teams, recruitment, and performance
Oversee budgets, expenditures, and P&L
Ensure robust resource planning and scheduling
Champion Health & Safety and compliance
Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement
Produce operational reports for senior leadershipRequirements:
WAMITAB Level 4 & CPC Managers Qualification
GM/Operations Director experience in waste/recycling/industrial
Strong financial/commercial management, multi-site leadership
Health & Safety (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred), environmental compliance expertise
Advanced IT (MS Office, SAP), report production
Full UK driving licence, willingness to travel
