Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Remote (with occasional site visits)
Rate: £45-50 per hour (inside IR35 with possibility of outside)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: 6-month contract
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a 6-month contract. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £45-50 per hour and the flexibility of remote working for most of the week, with occasional site visits as required. You will play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure projects, particularly focusing on drainage design, highways, and network modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, focusing on drainage systems and highways.
·Utilise Civils 3D, InfoDrainage, and other relevant software to develop drainage and highway models.
·Ensure compliance with industry standards, SAB drainage design, and Welsh drainage design (where applicable).
·Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
·Manage the technical aspects of the projects, providing guidance and support to junior engineers.
·Review and approve designs, project documentation, and drawings.
Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar civil engineering role.
·Strong expertise in drainage design, highways, and network modelling.
·Proficient in using Civils 3D, InfoDrainage, and other relevant design software.
·Understanding of SAB drainage design and Welsh drainage design standards is desirable.
·Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
·Chartered status (or working towards) is highly desirable.
·Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
