National Account Manager (DIY & Distribution) – Building Products
Area to be covered: National (2 days home based)
Benefits: £9,000 annual car allowance or company car & full benefits
The role of the National Account Manager – Wood Products will involve:
* Managing a high-quality range of engineered wood products as a National Account Controller
* Managing, developing, and mentoring one direct report
* Focusing on managing one of our client's largest DIY distribution accounts (B&Q)
* Supporting new product launches and development
* Involvement with pricing implementation
* Liaising with internal customer service, marketing, supply, and transport teams
* Willingness to cover national territory with regular commutes to Southampton
The ideal applicant will be a National Account Manager – Wood Products with:
* A proven track record in sales and account management
* Experience managing large accounts in retail / DIY distribution sector
* Previous dealings with the Kingfisher Group (preferred)
* Experience selling timber / wood products (preferred but not essential)
* Commercially astute with the ability to create sustainable contractual agreements
