The Role
* Teaching a broad range of physical activities across KS3 and KS4, specifically focusing on girls' PE
* Delivering theoretical components of GCSE PE or BTEC Sport
* Leading and coaching school teams in local and regional fixtures (Netball, Football, Athletics etc.)
* Planning inclusive lessons that encourage girls of all abilities to lead healthy lifestyles
* Acting as a role model to inspire confidence and participation in female sports
* Contributing to the school’s vibrant extracurricular sports timetable
* Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
* A strong personal background in sport and a commitment to extracurricular excellence
* The ability to build positive relationships with students and act as an empowering role model
* Excellent organisational skills and a high level of energy and enthusiasm
