Job Description Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading manufacturer of automated packaging machinery. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling capital equipment or machinery within the engineering / manufacturing industry. Any experience selling automated packaging machinery would be advantageous, though not a necessity. Package £40,000 - £50,000 Bonus Company Car 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension Phone & laptop Additional benefits Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role Will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK. Maintaining mechanical engineering product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets. Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution / application support for all customer needs / requirements. Provide after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required to customers within a variety of industries such as manufacturing, food & bev, and more. Field-based covering the UK with regular visits to customer sites. Required to be at office in Alton when not on the road. Liaise with various engineering departments. Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within an industrial engineering environment. Experience selling capital equipment / machinery or systems Candidates with proven experience selling automated packaging machinery are highly encouraged to apply. Full clean driving license. Willingness to work a Hybrid mix of office based and, on the road, visiting customers.
