An exciting opportunity has arisen at Derby College Group to join our IT team as an IT Deployment Specialist. The role involves providing support to end users and colleagues across all campuses. While the role is mainly based at Roundhouse, travel to all other campuses will occasionally be required.
The Opportunity
In this role, you'll provide proactive support to end users and work closely with colleagues in the IT Desktop Services team. You'll collaborate with curriculum areas to understand their software needs and configure images and task sequences accordingly. You'll also be responsible for keeping operating systems and software packages up to date in line with Cyber Essentials certification - so strong organisational and technical skills are key. Additionally, you'll manage a fleet of over 5,000 devices using tools such as SCCM, Intune, Azure, and JAMF.

You're self-motivated, passionate about IT, and stay up to date with the latest technologies. You'll bring excellent problem-solving skills to support automated deployments and software updates. As part of a friendly, multi-campus team, strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
