Job overview Due to expansion within our Primary Care Network (PCN) we have an exciting opportunity for a further Clinical Pharmacist to join our organisation. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic pharmacist to work in ASPIRE PCN. Completion of CPPE pathway and independent prescribing are desirable, but not essential. 2 years experience of pharmacy within the healthcare setting or equivalent is desirable, but not essential. Advert The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a partially patient facing role. The post holder will take responsibility for areas of chronic disease management, clinical medication reviews, supporting the general practice staff with regards to prescription and medication queries. They will potentially provide support for the repeat prescriptions system, deal with acute prescription requests, medicines reconciliation on transfer of care and systems for safer prescribing, providing expertise in clinical medicines advice, while providing clinical leadership on medicines optimisation and quality improvement and manage some aspects of the quality and outcomes framework and enhanced services. They will be involved in any PCN related projects and initiatives. Working for our organisation Nottingham City General Practice Alliance is a GP federation that operates to support, connect, and represent General Practices in Nottingham city. We are the lead employer for Primary Care Network (PCN) staff, employing on behalf of our member PCNs. We are close to employing approximately 100 ARRS (Additional Role Re-imbursement Scheme) roles. We currently employ 40 Clinical Pharmacists across the city, and our goal is to ensure that all staff are supported to grow and thrive. We have been nationally recognised for our models of supervision, and have appeared on the Specialist Pharmacist Service Webinar to share our experiences.
