The Bridge Academy Trust secondary schools support trainee teachers through Mid Essex ITT, an outstanding* teacher training scheme operating since 1994 (*Ofsted, 2024).
This one-year course begins in September 2025, offering training at two secondary schools, with weekly sessions at Notley High School and subject-specific training. Successful completion grants Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE accredited by Anglia Ruskin University. Both full-time and part-time options are available, lasting up to two years.
Eligibility criteria include:
* GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in English (or equivalent)
* GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in Maths (or equivalent)
* A degree with a classification of 2:2 or above (or overseas equivalent)
